Kevin Hajda

Kevin Hajda, 33, blends his agricultural roots and over a decade in the tech industry to drive Abled Acres' mission. Kevin’s life took a new direction after a T12 incomplete spinal cord injury in April 2022. During his recovery, he found that positivity was the best cure and set out looking for others to help like himself. As an admin of the SCI Life Facebook group and founder of the Roll Call program, he has built vital spaces for connection and support among SCI survivors. Guided by his Christian faith and passion for community outreach, Kevin is dedicated to creating a sanctuary where others can rediscover their independence and grow.
Amanda Barnes

Amanda Barnes is a multifaceted artist and advocate with a background in fine arts from California College of the Arts. At 36, she holds three Associate of Arts degrees in Illustration, Digital Media Arts, and Social and Behavioral Sciences, alongside a Certificate of Achievement in Graphic Design and Entrepreneurial-Social Enterprises focusing on innovation and inclusivity. A T12 paraplegic since 2011, Amanda channels her passion for painting, drawing, and jewelry-making into a mission to empower and inspire others. Guided by her spirituality, she seamlessly integrates alternative healing practices into her life while passionately championing justice and inclusion.
